The MP of the Shor Party Marina Tauber said that President Maia Sandu invents apocalyptic scenario in order to resort to new abuses and limit human rights. According to her, President Sandu’s statements that violent actions are being prepared to overthrow the government in Moldova were made exactly after the Movement for People, which includes the Shor Party, announced a protest for February 19, IPN reports.

“Any attempt to upset the constitutional order by violating the rule of law and democracy, as Maia Sandu and the PAS government do, are offenses stipulated in the Criminal Code and all those involved in these wrongdoings will be held accountable,” Marina Tauber stated in a press briefing.

According to her, the tyrant regime of Maia Sandu realized the high level of dissatisfaction among the people who demand that the Government should pay the bills for the three winter months. “They realized that the citizens this time will not allow being scared and will take to the streets to demand that their rights should be respected and that the Government should pay their bills,” stated the MP.

She called on all the opposition political forces to support the Movement for People.

President Maia Sandu said on Monday that actions involving diversionists with military training, disguised in civvies, who would take violent actions, would stage attacks on state institutions and would take people hostage, are being planned. By actions presented as protests by the so-called opposition, they intend to overthrow the government in Chisinau. “In the implementation of their plan, the authors bank on a number of internal forces, especially on criminal groups, such as the Shor Party and all its derivatives, some of the veterans, former employees of the law enforcement agencies and persons known for their ties with Plahotniuc,” said the official.
