MP of the Shor Party Marina Tauber said that she permanently keeps in touch with the party’s leader and Ilan Shor actively manages the party, as earlier. Asked where the politician is now, she noted that Ilan Shor is much closer than many people believe, IPN reports.

Furthermore, the MP said Ilan Shor could soon give a news conference in Chisinau in person. In the program “Fourth Power” on N4 channel, Marina Tauber said risks to the life and health of Ilan Shor continue to exist. “I stated this with full responsibility. We, his team, often persuaded him not to appear in the public sphere as long as there are no internal and external guarantees that he is out of danger,” she noted.

The MP also said that the Shor Party will take part in the upcoming presidential elections and will field a candidate for President, but no names will be yet given. “If there hadn’t been age restrictions, Ilan Shor would have definitely run on behalf of the Shor Party, as the people want. But there is this discrimination. (...) If this problem exists, we will prepare a very interesting surprise for everyone and will definitely do our best for the President to be a representative of the Shor Party and will struggle forcefully in this regard,” she stated.

Also, Marina Tauber said that if snap parliamentary elections are held, the Shor Party could score a better result than that obtained in the similar elections of last February.
