Moldovan weightlifter Marin Robu has won a bronze medal for the total result at the 2023 EWF Weightlifting European Championships in Yerevan, IPN reports.
He lifted 364 kg in the 89 kg weight class. Robu also won bronze in snatch with 166 kg, while in clean and jerk he ranked fourth with 198 kg.
In the women’s competition, Natalia Prishchepa and Alexandrina Ciubotaru competed in the 76 kg weight class, ranking sixth and eighth respectively.
