Marian Lupu is to take over the leadership of the Respect Moldova Movement in April, when the congress of this political party will take place. The decision was announced at the broader meeting of the party's National Political Council, IPN reports.

The congress will be held on April 12. Marian Lupu announced that the Respect Moldova Movement will soon go through a series of important transformations and become a formidable center-left political force.

The National Political Council of the “Respect Moldova Movement" Party also voted unanimously to name Iulia Costin and Ruslan Petrusenco as deputy chairpersons of the party.
