Marian Lupu says possible coalition with Voronin and Tkachuk is problematic

The chairman of the Democratic Party (PDM) Marian Lupu, in a program on the public TV channel Moldova 1, said the party he represents will leave the doors wide open for dialog after the elections. According to him, a possible coalition with the Communists Party (PCRM) will be problematic owing to the Communists' unwillingness to hold discussions, Info-Prim Neo reports. Marian Lupu stressed the PDM drew conclusions after the July 2009 elections. He said that the party narrowed its way and received blows both from the Communist Opposition and the colleagues from the ruling alliance. “I must say that after the early legislative elections, we will leave the doors wide open for dialogue to promote the national interests. I can tell you why: I do not want my corridor to be narrowed. Nobody can be sure that the surveys are true and we will have only four parties in Parliament after the elections. Who can say that the United Moldova Party for example will not enter?” Marian Lupu said.
