“The PCRM’s statement shows lack of respect for the political partners. By this radical, very rigid, position aimed at imposing conditions on the Alliance for European Integration (AIE), the PCRM did nothing but complicate the political situation in the country,” the leader of the Democratic Party (PDM) Marian Lupu has told Info-Prim Neo. At a plenary meeting on Saturday, the PCRM decided to open talks over the formation of a center-left coalition. The Communist MPs said they will carry out talks with every party leader separately, not with the AEI. The Communist MP Vadim Misin referred especially to Marian Lupu and Serafim Urecheanu, the leader of the AMN. “The Democratic Party will not change its position. The coalition between the four parties (the PLDM, PL, PDM and AMN) exists. A dialog for solving the problems must take place,” Marian Lupu said. “The coalition was formed and nobody has the right to recognize it or not from legal viewpoint. It is a right of the political parties to make such an alliance,” Lupu said after the Communist MPs declared today that they question the existence of an alliance for European integration. Marian Lupu reminded that the AEI invited the PCRM to the first round of dialogue at the Palace of the Republic on Tuesday, August 25.
