Marian Lupu leaves PCRM

Marian Lupu has announced that he withdraws from the Communist Party (PCRM). He made the announcement before Wednesday’s meeting of Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. The former Speaker of Parliament said that before the early elections, the rigidity of the parliamentary forces’ position becomes even more dangerous as the idea that the fight will be stiff, between white and red and between good and evil, is confirmed. “In the present situation, when all the possibilities and attempts to participate in decision making inside the party have been used up, realizing the danger of the positions that I do not share and the possible consequences of this step, I publicly announce that I leave the ranks of the PCRM,” Marian Lupu said. He stressed he will not stop taking an active part in the Moldovan political life. “I cannot say now in what form, but my new engagement will undoubtedly exclude rigid, conflictual and radical positions,” the MP said.
