The Speaker said that what Alexandru Petcov did is not at all commendable. The leader of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu also criticized Alexandru Petcov, saying the MP should be ashamed of his words. “It is a shame what he did. By supporting Petcov, the other members of the Communist group became accomplices,” he stated. The Communist MPs left the Parliament's sitting after the parliamentary majority decided to force Alexandru Petcov out for insult.
