The Democratic Party’s candidate for President Marian Lupu called on the potential election runners not to attack the Government in the electoral period. He made such a call in the program “Reply” on Prime TV channel, IPN reports.
“I request that they should not involve the Government. The Government must work. It is a professional one that achieved serious results and it should not be hampered. This Government will continue to work after the presidential elections. All the attacks on it are groundless,” stated the Democratic leader.
Marian Lupu noted that he started to be attacked by opponents immediately after he was fielded for the presidency by the Democratic Party. “All this criticism leveled by candidates shows that the PDM is an worthy opponent. We will struggle, but not by their methods. In fact, we must be grateful to them. While they criticize us, we improve our rating in polls,” he said.
The chairman of the PDM also said that the voters will have to choose between stability and chaos. “We managed to ensure stability. The Government showed that it can work and achieve results only in such conditions. Only in conditions of stability, can the three branches of power cooperate between them,” stated Marian Lupu.
