Moldova should return to a very intense cooperation program with Russia, Head of Parliament Marian Lupu told the press. He said he intends to pay a visit to Moscow, at the invitation of the Chairman of the State Duma Boris Gryzlov, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”We must strengthen parliamentary cooperation with other countries, but also return to a relevant program with our strategic partner, Russia, so as to stick to the principle of intelligence and balance in the foreign policy,” said Marian Lupu. The Speaker also said that in Moscow they will make a retrospective analysis of the interparliamentary cooperation and agree a plan of action in this respect. The date when Marian Lupu will go to Moscow was not announced. A group of Romanian MPs is expected to visit Chisinau in mid-February. They are to agree a working program between the legislatures of Romania and Moldova.
