Marian Lupu goes to Moscow at Russian Patriarch Kirill's invitation

The leader of the Democratic Party Marian Lupu will be participating in a religious ceremony in Moscow alongside other guests invited by the Russian Patriarch Kirill. Services will be held on the occasion of one year of the enthronement of the Russian Patriarch on February 1 and 2. Marian Lupu said he does not yet know the program of the visit as it will be finalized in the evening of January 30, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I can say that I will take part in the liturgies and services to which I was invited,” Lupu said. Asked if his visit was somehow connected with the visit paid by the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin to Moscow two days ago, Marian Lupu said it wasn't. “Mister Voronin had a private meeting with Patriarch Kirill. I will participate in ceremonies to which guests from many countries were invited,” he said.
