Head of Parliament Marian Lupu said there are two scenarios that the PLDM and PCRM can implement further. Both of them envision the Speaker’s dismissal. Marian Lupu expects this will happen in the October 20 sitting of the legislative body, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Speaker said that according to the first scenario, he will be dismissed by the votes of the Liberal-Democrat and Communist lawmakers and then the head of state and another Government will be chosen by the same votes and there will be formed a green-red coalition. “Under the second scenario, the Head of Parliament will be dismissed by the votes of the Liberal-Democrat and Communist MPs. Afterward, Mister Filat will not keep his world and will betray the PCRM. As there will be no Head of Parliament, as Prime Minister he will take over as Acting President. His goal is to destroy his political opponents and to have early elections when it will be suitable for him,” said Marian Lupu. He stressed that he may be dismissed on Thursday, October 20, for the reason that he refused to initiate the procedure for dismissing the prosecutor general. Prime Minister Vlad Filat demanded that the prosecutor general be discharged in the Parliament’s sitting last week. The Liberal-Democrat and Communist lawmakers are in favor of the dismissal.
