The National Opera House “Maria Biesu” on June 1 will open a new performance hall. “The hall will be named the Small Hall of “Maria Biesu” Opera House and will host especially puppet shows,” the institution’s director Valeria Sheican told a news conference, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The hall’s design allows the artists to work with the children interactively. A separate artistic section of marionettes will be also opened on June 1. The Small Hall will be also used for chamber concerts, screenings and launches of new talents. Every week, there will be staged by three shows for children and four shows for adults. The hall has a capacity of 50 seats. Over 200,000 lei was used for performing the internal works. The money was allocated from the institution’s budget.
