The Feminist Initiative Group in Moldova on March 8 mounts a march from the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (starting point) up to the Square of the National Opera House (final destination). The event is to start at 12 noon, IPN reports.

By this march, the organizers aim to challenge the exiting negative stereotypes built around the world ‘feminism’ and the preconceptions about persons who identify themselves as feminists. 

Some participants in the march will wear T-shirts with the inscriptions: “Aşa arată un feminist”/“Aşa arată o feministă” (This is what a feminist looks likes). Within the event, the marchers will give away flyers with information about feminism and its aspirations.\\
