The persons who buy a health insurance policy individually can pay the mandatory health insurance premium in fixed amount for 2021 as of today, December 28. Reductions of 50%, 60% or 75% of the price of the policy (4,056 lei) are applied until March 31 inclusive, IPN reports, quoting the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM).
The 75% reduction is intended for farmland owners who will pay only 1,014 lei until March 31. Private individuals who perform independent activity in retail trade, except for trade in goods that are subject to excise duties, will benefit from a 60% reduction and will pay 1.622,40 lei. The founders of individual companies, patent holders, lessors, lessees and other citizens who are not employed and are not medically insured by the Government, the foreigners with the right to stay temporarily in Moldova will pay 2,028 lei, which is 50% of the health insurance premium.
After April 1, the persons will pay the full amount of the mandatory health insurance premium – 4,056 lei and delay penalties
The mediators, notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, legal experts, interpreters, translators and authorized administrators who got a license or an authorization in accordance with the law, the persons who practice as family doctors independently will pay the full amount of 4,056 lei.
