The Government approved regulations that govern the way in which health system data are collected, updated and analyzed. The given information will be used when taking decisions about the prophylaxis of diseases, treatment and rehabilitation of patients and efficient management of resources in public and private medical-sanitary facilities, IPN reports.

The regulations concerning the method of keeping the medical register that covers the integrated information health system also govern the interoperability with other information registers and systems and define methods of ensuring an appropriate personal data protection level.

The Medical Register will be managed and kept by the Ministry of Health.
