Management of flow of refugees discussed by PM Gavrilița and her Polish counterpart

The regional security situation and solutions for managing the large flow of Ukrainian refugees were discussed in a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and her Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki. In this connection, they discussed the necessity of managing the large number of refugees and of creating green corridors for those who want to reach the EU member states, IPN reports.

According to the Government’s press service, the two officials also discussed the economic and financial consequences of the humanitarian crisis. Mateusz Morawiecki assured that Poland will assist the Republic of Moldova both in managing the flow of refugees and in obtaining more multilateral aid.

The Polish Premier welcomed the Republic of Moldova’s decision to submit an application to join the EU and assured that the Government in Warsaw will fully support Moldova’s European course.

Natalia Gavrilița approved of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and thanked for the support provided by Poland within the European Union.
