The police on April 1 arrested a man aged 57 on suspicion that he killed his 35-year-old son. The incident happened in Buiucani district of Chisinau as a result of a quarrel, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau Police Division, the police were called by the victim’s mother, who said that her son was stabbed and died. The medical examiner identified a kitchen knife wound in the man’s thorax.

The police established that the victim was inebriated. Both the father and son abused alcohol. The suspect was put under arrest for 72 hours and is investigated for murder. He faces 10 to 15 years behind bars.
