The man that killed an inhabitant of Ghidighici village of Chisinau municipality two days ago is a native of Mereni village of Anenii Noi district and has a criminal record. The 38-year-old man was arrested several hours after he committed the crime, Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the Chisinau General Police Commiserative, has told Info-Prim Neo. The suspect, who was drunk and still had blood on his hands when detained, confessed to the murder. The two men drank together alcoholic beverages. It is not known yet why the suspect stabbed his drinking companion in the neck. The victim was 52 and was the father of two minor children. His corpse was found by dwellers near an apartment building located on Mateevici St in Ghidighici. If found guilty, the suspect would serve at least eight years in jail.
