A 49-year-old man, suspected of kidnapping the 10-year-old child who disappeared a day ago in Nicolaevca village of Anenii Noi district, was detained for 72 hours. The individual was with the boy when he was located in a field, at a distance of 7 km from home, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the boy is now at home with his parents and is to benefit from the psychological assistance of specialists. An examination will be carried out to determine the child’s state of health. The boy will also be questioned in special conditions.

The 10-year-old boy from Nicolaevca, Anenii Noi district, went missing on Wednesday morning. The minor left for school, but did not reach the bus stop located 1 km from home. He was found in the evening 7 km away from home, in a field. Relatives, locals, groups of hunters and volunteers were involved in the search so as to quickly examine as many places as possible.

A criminal case was started on this case for abduction of a minor.
