A 63-year-old man from Baurci village of Ceadâr-Lunga district died hit by a car while gathering on the roadway the debris from the own car that was involved in a road accident. It happened near Zloți and Sagaidac villages of Cimișlia district in the morning of January 23.

Asked by IPN to provide details, press officer of the Ialoveni Police Inspectorate Silvia Vetcu said the vehicle driven by the man from Baurci skidded off the road and hit the roadside curb. The driver went out of the car to gather the debris and was struck by another vehicle driven by a man aged 33 from Băcioi village of Chisinau municipality.

The man aged 63 died on the spot.
