Man stabs brother in heart

A resident of Pohrebeni village of Orhei district is accused by prosecutors of killing his elder brother premeditatedly.
In a press release quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the General Prosecutor’s Office says that on March 1, the suspect, while under the influence of alcohol, started to quarrel with his brother and stabbed him with a knife in the heart. The 58-year-old died on the spot.
The suspect was remanded in custody. He faces 20 to 25 years in jail or life imprisonment.
