A 29-year-old man was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with a stab wound in the chest. He was attacked by individuals at the door of a Chisinau apartment, where he was on a visit. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Maria Shamatailo told Info-Prim Neo that the man was in the house when somebody rang the doorbell. When he opened the door, he was attacked and stabbed. An investigation is underway. Another man aged 41 mixed the bottles up and drank acetic acid instead of alcohol. He was admitted to the hospital. A homeless man in his 50s was found dead in a yard on Banulescu-Bononi St. On January 9, the Chisinau ambulance teams traveled to 731 addresses and dealt with 159 cases of viral infection, 64 cases of trauma, 10 strokes and other emergencies.
