An inebriated 47-year-old man died after he slipped and fell down the stairs of the building where he lived. Evelina Rusu, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, told Info-Prim Neo that the tragedy happened in a building located on Costiujeni Street of Chisinau's Telecentru sector on Tuesday. When the ambulance arrived, the man was already dead. Another man of the same age was discovered dead in his house by his daughter. He died unexpectedly. Two homeless men and a woman were hospitalized with general hypothermia. A man in his 40s suffered from acute intoxication and was rushed to the hospital from Mircea cel Batran Blvd. Twelve strokes ans 12 cases of acute coronary syndrome were recorded in Chisinau on Tuesday, February 9. The Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 768 calls, dealing with 63 cases of acute viral infection, 9 cases of flu, 26 cases of pneumonia and 71 cases of trauma.
