Man sets himself on fire
The troubles made a 50-year-old man from Chisinau to resort to suicide. He splashed his body with gasoline and set himself on fire, but survived.
Octavian Cerempei, the head of the Burns Unit of the Trauma Hospital, where the man was taken, has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance was called by the man’s children. The patient undergoes intensive therapy. He suffered third- and fourth-degree burns on the legs, arms and face as well as injury to the trachea.
The exact cause for such an act is not known, but is was evidently a reaction to stress.
