A man aged 48 received serious injuries in a traffic accident in Chisinau on March 19. The driver of a Skoda Octavia was moving backward on Andrei Doga St. He did not see the man and stopped only when witnesses started to cry. Cooridnating doctor at the Chisinau Emergency Service Anatol Proca told Info-Prim Neo that the man suffered a fracture of the backbone in the lumbar region, rib fractures, excoriations and contusions.  A woman aged 60 was struck by a Dacia on Voluntarilor St in Chisinau. She was rushed to the hospital with a wound in the occipital region and a concussion.   Two cars collided at the intersection of the streets Alba Iulia and Paris. One of the drivers aged 31 suffered a concussion and contusion of the thorax. The doctors ascertained he was drunk.   The 111 road accidents that happened in Moldova this month resulted in nine deaths and 109 persons hurt.
