Man seriously injured in Chisinau fire
A 62-year-old man residing on Cornului St in Chisinau suffered burns of the second and third degree on about 80% of the body in a fire cased by a lit cigarette, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Emergency Station, the man was under the influence and did not feel when the bedclothes caught fire. The ambulance rushed him to the hospital.
A man aged 49 was admitted to hospital with a wound in the parietal region and a concussion that he sustained after two bricks from the ceiling of a cellar under construction fell on his head.
