A 23-year-old woman from Donduseni was killed by her partner with a kitchen knife. The man was sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to prosecutors, the couple was living at the girl’s parents. Being under the influence, the man stabbed his woman with a knife, accusing her of cheating on him. The victim’s parents had been witnesses to the crime. The young woman was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. She died in less than an hour. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court, the Prosecutor General’s Office says in a communiqué.
