Man orders wife's murder to keep their house

A 61-year-old Russian is accused of having ordered his wife's murder to keep their houses in Mereni village, Anenii Noi district. The woman is 46 and the house is assessed at 60,000 euros, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Interior Ministry. The suspect was married to the victim for four years. They divorced last year, as their common assets were to be shared equally. The man was ready to pay $2,000 to see her wife dead, and he even gave $600 in advance. He was held up as he was paying the rest of the sum to the under-cover officer, who staged the murder. If found guilty, the suspect may serve a 25-year jail sentence.
