Man of 38 dies in accident just because not fastening safety belt
A man aged 38 died in a serious road accident produced, around midnight in Ciocana district of the Capital.
Inspector of Traffic Security Service of the Chisinau Traffic Police Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo that the accident was provoked by the excessive speed of the car IJ-Combi, driven by Iurie Furtuna. On the Mesterul Manole str, no. 9, the car hit the curb. Because of the excessive speed, the impact provoked the overturn of the vehicle and the lethal injury of driver. According to Roscovanu, if the victim had fastened his seat belt, he would have survived. At the moment when the car turned over, the man was thrown out of the car and suffered several injures to head.
Several hours earlier, in the same place, another road accident produced. A Mercedes-200, driven by a young man, of 19, hit a woman, aged 51. She suffered contusion of the soft tissues of the nose and several bruises.
A girl, aged 17, student of the Culinary College, has been hit by a Geeli on the Ion Creanga str. She suffered mental shock and soft tissue contusion, and has been interned in “Valentin Ignatenco” hospital.
25 road accidents in which one person died and other two got injured, were registered on Wednesday in the capital. Police inspectors initiated 527 proceedings against persons breaking traffic regulations, including 11 intoxicated drivers, 51 ignoring semaphore color, 36 unbelted drivers.
