Man lies dead in front of Oncology Institute

A 65-year-old man was found dead in front of the Oncology Institute in Chisinau on Monday morning. The body had lain in the street for a period until it was taken to the morgue.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the director of the Oncology Institute Victor Cernat said the man was suspected of having cancer and was under medical supervision. He also said that the man remained to lie there because the doctors waited for the police to come and investigate the place.
“Examinations are now performed to find out the cause of death,” said Victor Cernat, adding the dead man suffered two serious heart attacks in the past.
The man, who reportedly was a military doctor, lived in Ciocana district. According to the press officer of the General Police Commissariat Adrian Jovmir, no visible signs of violent death were found on the man’s body.
