A man was struck fatally by a car at a crossroads near Cojusna village of Straseni district. Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat, has told Info-Prim Neo that the man in his 50s was hit by a Mitsubishi-Pajero car driven by a 28-year-old man from Straseni on Thursday evening. The man died at the place of the accident. Three persons, including a minor girl, were injured in a road accident in central Chisinau yesterday evening. Two of the victims were in an ambulance that was hit by an Opel Tigra driven by a man aged 30 from Vatra town. The collision was so powerful that the traffic lights were knocked down and the street remained closed for traffic for about an hour. The doctor and a 17-year-old patient from the ambulance and an occupant of the car suffered different injuries. A woman aged 72 traveling in a trolleybus fell and received injuries when the vehicle stopped suddenly. The six road accidents that happened in the area of Chisinau yesterday and last night resulted in one death and seven persons injured.
