Man killed in fire caused by short circuit
A man died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a fire last night. The tragedy happened in an apartment in Ialoveni town, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the fire broke out in a first floor apartment of a building with five stories. The smoke spread throughout the building. The firefighters discovered the body of the 69-year-old man in a room of the apartment. The preliminary investigations showed the fire was caused by a short circuit.
The fires killed 85 persons in Moldova this year.
