A man has died and another one is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of the Emergency Hospital, after they had been crushed by the collapsed wall of a building under reconstruction on Alexandru cel Bun street in Chisinau. As coordinator doctor of the Emergency Service in Chisinau Silvia Babara states, one of the men died on the spot, while the other one aged 50 has been taken to the hospital with a serious diagnosis. On the same day, a 24-year old young man attempted to commit suicide, leaving the gas stove range open. He was found by his relatives and saved by doctors. On Thursday morning, by 6.00 am, two men, aged 40 and 49, have been attacked in a bar on Trandafirilor street, 15. They were stabbed in abdomen, while the second one has also received a stab to the right arm. Both men confessed they did not know the person that attacked them. On Thursday, the Emergency Service in the capital has registered 812 calls, including 152 cases of acute viruses, 31 cases of flu, 55 injuries and 2 brain ictuses.
