One man was killed and four minors were injured in the road accidents that happened in Moldova on Monday, March 29. Paulina Iakimovski, of the Traffic Police Division's PR department, told Info-Prim Neo that an inebriated man was speeding through the center of Causeni town and struck an 83-year-old pedestrian with the car. Three children aged 3, 8 and 10 received injuries in an accident on the Chisinau-Hancesti road and were rushed to the hospital. As the driver was speeding, he lost control of the car, in which the three children were traveling, and crashed it into a Rover parked by the roadside. The Rover was projected into a Ford. A VAZ driven by a drunken 56-year-old man collided with a Mazda on Doina Street in Chisinau. The driver of the VAZ sustained a concussion. The seven traffic accidents that happened in Moldova on Monday resulted in one death and eight persons hurt, including four minors.
