A vehicle crashed violently into a large truck parked on the Chisinau-Orhei road, not far from Stauceni commune, last night. A 20-year-old passenger of the car died on the spot, while the driver aged 40 and a girl of 11 were rushed to the hospital in a serious condition, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau Emergency Medicine Center, there was a family in the vehicle – the father and his two children. The driver’s son lost his life, while his daughter suffered a contusion of the pelvic bones and a concussion, being admitted to the Mother and Child Center.

The driver sustained severe polytrauma and his chances of survival are slim.
