A tragic accident happened on the Balti-Glodeni road, at the entrance to Sadovoe village of Glodeni district, on April 13. A man was killed, while another one was injured when the car in which they traveled skidded owing to high speed and overturned, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police Division, a 33-year-old resident of Balti town was driving a Dacia Logan at high speed. When trying to overtake another vehicle, the driver lost control of the car, which passed to the left side of the road and overturned. The driver and his passenger aged 39 from Fundurii Vechi, Glodeni were thrown 24 meters away. The driver died on the spot, while the passenger was admitted to the Balti Municipal Hospital with different traumas.
