Man injured seriously at Chisinau building site
A man was seriously injured after falling from height at a building site in Chisinau’s Ciocana district.
Coordinating Doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service, Eufalia Negreata, told Info-Prim Neo that the man, 23, fell from a 7 meter height and was admitted to the Urgency Hospital with head trauma and pelvis fracture.
The body of an unknown man, aged about 70, was found in the capital’s Central Market, near the meat department. The police ask public help in identifying the person.
Two men, 53 and 38, respectively died, of unknown reasons in Buiucani and Centru district of the capital. Forensic experts are to identify the causes of the sudden deaths.
A man, 26, was admitted to the Urgency Hospital with a stab wound to the chest. According to the doctors, the man was stabbed by strangers in a bar on the Mitropolit Varlaam Street in downtown Chisinau.
Over the lpast 24 hours, the Urgency Service recorded 620 calls, of which 54 cases of trauma, 8 strokes and 3 heart attacks.
