A man required hospital treatment for head injuries after he was involved in a fall at a building site from the capital. Coordinator doctor of the Emergency Service in Chisinau Anatol Proca says that the man aged 41 slipped and fell 5 m from a construction site on Corobceanu street. Fortunately, the man did not suffer serious injuries. An intoxicated young man aged 23 decided to commit suicide by cutting the blood vessels of his left arm. A 39-year-old man, arrived in the capital from Rezina, required at midday the emergency doctors’ help, after he was stabbed in the abdomen. A 24-year-old young girl that lives on Hotin street was poisoned with gas that was leaking from a bad gas cylinder, while a man aged 50, residing on Albisoara street 16, was taken to hospital after he ate mushrooms gathered and cooked by him. Over the last 24 hours, the Emergency Service of Chisinau had received 572 calls, including 39 acute viruses, 46 cases of injuries and 4 brain ictuses.
