A man infected with COVID-19, who is from Dănceni village of Ialoveni district, last night ran away from the National Clinical Hospital where he was receiving treatment. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the police are taking measures to trace the man and to isolate him immediately, IPN reports.
“We are daily exposed to risks. By not complying with the requirements and refusing to realize the existing danger and by opposing even when the doctors try to save your lives, you do nothing but hinder the work done by those who are in the front line and spread a virus that is daily fatal for people from all over the world,” the Ministry said in a press release.
Mayor of Dănceni Victoria Butuc-Guranda posted on Facebook that the man wasn’t found at home by the police. She asked anyone with any information about the whereabouts of the man to call the mayor’s office or the 112 service.
