A man from Basarabeasca got eight years and six months for causing bodily injuries to his son, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office. According to the proofs presented by the prosecution in court, the man lifted his three-month-old son up from a leg, breaking his femur. Earlier, the man was convicted two times. The last time, in 2004, he was sentenced to seven years in jail as he beat and caused burns to his three-month-old niece while under the influence of alcohol.
