A Chisinau man was hospitalised after he was shot from a gun in the street on Thursday night, 7 February. Doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service Ludmila Untura told Info-Prim Neo that at about 2:30 AM three unknown persons shot at the 40-year-old man on Traian Blvd. The bullet did not touch any vital organ. The victim was admitted to the Emergency Hospital with a wound to his haunch. A 78-year-old woman suffered multiple traumas in a road accident. The woman was hit on Wednesday morning by a Mercedes minibus on route 107 on Vasile Alecsandri Street. The woman was taken to the Emergency Hospital in critical condition. On 6 February, the Emergency Service registered 179 acute respiratory diseases, including 121 in children, and 65 cases of mumps. Traffic agents registered one road accident resulted in one injured person and 19 victimless accidents. They applied 378 fines, of which 12 to drunk drivers, 11 for driving unbuckled, 85 for driving on red and 14 for jaywalking.
