A resident of Chisinau was sentenced to four years and a half in jail for committing violent acts of a sexual character and for complicity in hiding a murder, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, in June 2012 the culprit drank alcohol together with a couple living in the vicinity. Being under the influence, the woman stabbed mortally her partner with a kitchen knife. To hide the crime, she and her neighbor cleaned the knife and staged a suicide.
In 2013, the woman got six years and a half. Her accomplice went missing and was put on the wanted list. The 38-year-old man was also accused of sexually assaulting a man win mental disorders in a cellar, after drinking alcoholic beverages with him.
The sentence is not yet definitive.
