A 29-year-old man, who is the father of two children, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for rape, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office. The prosecutors in Soroca related that the man was fishing with several friends. When the sun went down, he went to the village to bring cigarettes. On a road, he met two sisters who were visiting their grandparents. The man attacked them. One of them managed to escape and went to seek help. The man took the other girl aged 13 in a corn field and raped her. The court also obliged the man to pay 36,000 lei in damages.
