A man aged 58 was sentenced to 11 years in jail for sexually abusing his eight-year-old granddaughter in May-June 2021, IPN reports.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, it happened when the girl had been on a visit to her grandfather. The man had indecent discussions about sexual intercourse with her and forced her to look at pornography. He committed perverse actions against the minor.

The culprit denied any wrongdoing. He will serve his sentence in a closed jail. The sentence can be challenged in a higher court.
