A man native of Georgia who lives in Anenii Noi district was sentenced to 18 years in jail for sexually abusing three minor boys from the village in which this lived. The victims were from socially deprived families and studied at the vocational school situated near the man’s home, IPN reports.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the man lured the three boys into his home on the pretext of offering them occasional work. The man gave them to drink alcohol so as to easier break their resistance. One of the victims was subject to violent actions of a sexual character, while the other two were sexually harassed.

The man’s immoral behavior became known when one of the victims told a teacher what happened. This immediately announced the law enforcement agencies.

The man will serve 18 years in a closed-type jail. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
