A 64-year-old man, a resident of the village of Băhrinești in Florești district, was killed and buried in the garden of his house. The police detained a suspect. This is the victim’s 30-year-old son.

Contacted by IPN for details, Svetlana Talpă, press officer of the Florești Police Inspectorate, said that on August 5, the district police officers were notified by a woman from Băhrinești who had not seen her brother, a resident of the same village, for six days.

“Following a meticulous examination of the house and garden of the missing man, a lot of land that was recently dealt with was found in the garden. As a result of excavations, the police found the body of the 64-year-old man, with visible signs of violent death,” said the press officer.

The body is to be examined by a pathologist.

A criminal case was started over murder. The son of the murdered man was detained for 72 hours.
