A man aged 71 from Criuleni district, who was diagnosed with COVID-19, died at the Emergency Medicine Institute, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
The man was hospitalized in serious condition on April 2. He suffered from arterial hypertension, hypertensive heart disease, chronic kidney disease and diabetes mellitus.
This is the 44th death from the novel coronavirus in Moldova so far.
