Three men aged between 21 and 41 from Toceni village of Cantemir district killed a man aged 35 from the same settlement. The body was found in a pit, next to the bridge situated near the village, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the General Police Inspectorate.

According to the medical-legal examination, the man died as a result of the sustained injuries. The police established that he was on a visit to one of the suspects. The men drank alcoholic beverages and then started to fight. When the suspects realized that the man was dead, they hid the body in a shed near the house and then threw him into the pit.

The suspects face 12 to 15 years in jail for causing serious bodily injuries to the victim. Two of them were arrested, while the third is wanted.
