A vagrant was found dead inside a transformer post located neat Gratiesti village of Chisinau municipality. Most probably, the man, who was in his 50s, froze to death, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, Red Union Fenosa says that the man wasn’t dressed in warm clothes. Presumably, the body had been there for several days. The man did not have signs of electrocution, but his hands had been bitten by rats. Medical examiners are to find out the cause of death. According to Red Union Fenosa, no faults, accidents, deviations or pressure jumps had been recorded at the given post during the past 30 days. The electricians inspected the transformer post on December 19, 2008 and carried out planned works. The lock on the door was functional. After completing the works, the door was locked. Red Union Fenosa warns the population that the electrical installations pose a danger to health. The use of any electrical equipment, the access and presence inside such posts is banned.
